Combining an elegant velvet fabric with the beautiful gum blossom and waratah results in a garment ideal to add an artistic accent to any style.
Artist and designer Carolyn Cabena is attracted to the uniqueness of the Australian native flowers and her sketches are translated onto hand drawn printing screens. To make her original range of jackets, shawls and scarves these screens are printed with a resist onto natural silk velvet and then dyed in vibrant colours to show the sheer, lacy qualities of devore.
Care: hand wash separately in mild detergent and cool water, rinse and dry in the shade. Iron gently on the wrong side with steam setting
