Pauna Dumitrescu- "Porcelain Wearabillia"
Decorative Porcelain
After 30 years of exploring different mediums in order to obtain beauty in some form or another I decided porcelain is my favourite way to express myself. It all started when I first bought some porcelain clay with the intention of creating original pieces to set in my silver jewellery. As soon as I touched the clay I knew I was going to go much further than making settings for my jewellery. Creating tridimensional objects is so much more fulfilling for me. This beautiful material has opened an unlimited horizon of ideas, shapes, textures and colours. I see porcelain as a very delicate and feminine medium perfect for "preserving" beautiful handmade embroidery which I am using to create what I like to call "porcelain wearabillia"
