Magic Carpet Ride is my response to the worries of the world. As a tea cosy it offers comfort and warmth to keep my afternoon cuppa hot. And as a decorative item it allows me to explore themes using different materials interacting with one another to create a landscape, a scene, an imaginary journey a story to make the viewer think.


 Cactus Garden explores the interaction between plants and animals and insects. I like to take the original idea of a tea cosy as a decorative functional item and transform it into something that evokes another narrative and which can explore the natural world.
