Functional and Sculptural products
In my practice I focus on creating sculptural pieces for the home, including statement pieces as well as those based on traditional forms designed to suit a modern aesthetic and pair with various design styles. I enjoy and delight in refining traditional forms to produce pieces that are both sculptural and functional. Additionally, I produce a core range of functional stoneware pieces such as plates, bowls, and tumblers for everyday use. My glazes and surface decoration techniques draw inspiration from the natural landscapes that I am drawn to – the bush and mountains, ocean, and rocky, sandy shorelines.
